Masterclass Breakdown

In every battle, it’s crucial to understand who you are fighting.

In this first lesson, we will answer the crucial questions: “Who is the enemy? What is his plan?”

Knowing the tactics of the deceiver and his favorite traps means we won’t go into battle unprepared.

Once the grounds for combat have been set, we will talk about the sin of the world, how we get trapped in the inescapable cycles of power, pride, and prejudice, resentment, rivalry, and revenge.

All great stories have an antagonist and a hero.

We know our enemy and the gloom that he brings to the world — now it is time to examine the ultimate protagonist.

We are shown how Jesus took on the sin of the world and broke us from the cycle of evil through the tragedy and triumph of the cross.

Through the example of perfect heroism, we learn the only way to reverse the flow of sin is by bearing the responsibility, no matter the cause.

Now that we have confronted the darkness and have seen how the ultimate hero defeated it, we dive into framework for breaking the cycle of evil in our own lives.

The process begins with true repentance and is carried out through faith. We learn what it means to be truly repentant and how to advance forward by wielding the 10 swords of the spirit.

Once we understand the purpose of each weapon, we can use them to overcome the darkness around us.

In this final lesson, Fr. Longenecker unveils the battles of our time.

He explores sixteen ideologies that are woven into the foundations of our society—16 “isms” Fr. Dwight explains their origins, how they are connected and shows how to defeat each “ism” through sixteen disciplines of the spiritual life, equipping you for the main confrontations in life.
